A MODERN RETRO VIBE APARTMENT IN PRAGUE, fully renovated

Together with the architects Jan Šolar and Vojtěch Jansa, I have designed a complete renovation of an apartment in Prague's Hanspalka. This apartment features a modern retro vibe, created through fresh colors and unique shapes. The red-brown hue on the traditional floor tile pattern in the hallway contrasts beautifully with the light yellow kitchen. The bedroom is thoughtfully separated by a new glass door.

A FIRST REPUBLIC APARTMENT IN DEJVICE, fully renovated

Together with the architect Jan Šolar, I have designed a complete renovation of an apartment in Prague's Dejvice. The apartment, which had been oddly divided during the previous regime, lacked its own toilet and bathroom. The greenish shades that appear throughout the apartment refer to the name of the street where the apartment is located. The apartment is dominated by a wallpaper featuring tree motifs and new folding doors.

STAMMERSHALLE BADEHOTEL, a seaside hotel on Bornholm

I had the opportunity to help furnish and decorate the iconic Stammershalle beach hotel on Bornholm. The work was a lot of fun. It was an honour to style the decor and help refurbish the newly renovated hotel by REFORM Arkitektur.

ŠODÓ, a cosy bistro in Prague

With the designer Petra Stein, I have designed the interior of a cosy bistro in the Prague neighbourhood of Dejvice. Pop in for good coffee and a great dessert! Our clients were Taste of Prague and PG foodies.

CHALUPA MEZI SKLEPY, an old village weekend house / rental

Together with the designer Petra Stein, I have designed and remodelled the interior of an old South Moravian house. This village house’s focal point is a diamond-blue metal staircase.

LÖWE BRUUN BORNHOLM, home staging

Since 2021, I have been cooperating with the Löwe Bruun Bornholm real estate agency and staging their homes to make them ready for sale.

MOJE BOHÉMA, a shop and a gallery in Prague

Together with the designer Petra Stein, I have designed a combination of a shop and a gallery for Moje Bohéma. The vaults of the historical house in the very centre of Prague go well together with the custome-made furniture in the colors of the Czech flag.

MLÝN VOZDRÁKOV, an old water mill restored and reborn

For this restoration of a historical water mill in Southern Bohemia, I have designed both the interior and exterior of the house. When we started there was only the perimeter wall. This was a project for Brothers Estates .

TWO CHILDREN'S ROOMS, decorated with kids / together with UshUsh

The original minimalistic interior of the children’s rooms with a mirrored layout was designed by Atelier 111 Architekti. My task was to refurbish and redecorate the rooms. I approached Dagmar Skokanová (UshUsh.cz) and together with the kids themselves we brought more life to the interiors.

NA ŠKOLE, a historical school turned into a weekend home / rental

The owners hired the architect Tomáš Beránek to remodel this old village house and then asked me to design and decorate the new interior.

IKONY, my embroidery collection

Linen fabric, antique wood printing blocks and hand embroidery all came together in this limited fashion collection launched at Designblok 2019. IKONY combined traditional craft with contemporary aesthetics. I created the concept and embroidered all pieces by hand.

SOFFA, a design magazine

Soffa, a European design and slow lifestyle magazine, featured stories about design, fashion, people, travel and science. Each bi-monthly issue covered a single topic from a range of different perspectives. I founded the magazine together with Lenka Hlaváčová and served as its Editor-in-Chief.

HIGHLIGHTS by LEMARKET, a shoppable apartment

Prague’s first shoppable apartment was opened for three days in December 2019 as a new branch of the popular LeMarket design marketplace. I created the concept and hand-picked the brands and products, from antique rugs and furniture to beauty products and jewellery.
